Equipment Engineer
REPORTS TO: EQUIPMENT MANAGER
PURPOSE OF ROLE

To support Manufacturing by providing Equipment Maintenance support to all areas of the Wafer Fabrication area.
JOB ROLE
- Performs the maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment across all areas in the wafer fabrication area.
- Tool owner responsible for PM tracking, PM success, tool upgrades and support of Process Engineering.
- Responsible for precise tracking of tool hardware consumable and non-consumable.
- Repairs electronic, mechanical and vacuum equipment.
- Debugs and repairs electronic circuits and power supplies.
- Create/Modify Procedures and PM specifications as needed to improve tool availability or enhance training of other Equipment Engineers.
- Trouble shooting minor and complex tool issues to resolution.
- Is familiar with SPC.
- Member of the ERT.
- Has excellent time and project management skills.
- Has excellent attention to detail and follow up skills.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree areas: BS in electrical or mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 5 years Equipment Maintenance experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment. Experience in Implant and Photo is preferred.
- Must posses excellent communication skills, which includes verbal and written.
- Must be proficient in MS office products.
